This class explores the knowledge (pramana) of yoga practice through direct perception (prathyaksha). By being aware of the immediate and corporeal experience we will work towards uncovering the deeper or more intelligent self. In other words taking our practice and our yogic reality from ordinary to super ordinary.

Dr. Christa Schwind has been studying South Asian Religions since 1999. She holds a PhD in Religious Studies from the University of Denver/Iliff School of Theology with a focus on Comparative Religions (and more specifically the identity of American yoga).
