Ditch Trail Hike

The Ditch Trail is an easy trail that is the perfect option if you are looking for a short, relatively flat hike. We will access the Ditch Trail from the Snowmass Village Mall using the Nature Trail, which is also a flat trail that runs along Brush Creek. The Ditch Trail itself crosses through open meadows before running along a small creek and meandering through thick timber forests. The destination is one of the best views in Snowmass Village! Enjoy breathtaking views of the Snowmass Creek valley, which sits under the picturesque Mt. Daly. If we have time, we will practice either sitting meditation or yoga. The instructor will decide with the group which they prefer. The hike length is 1.5 hours and includes an elevation gain of just under 500 feet.

Emily Steers is a playful and curious soul who found her way to yoga as a means of relaxing her body and mind, after long training runs and rides. Her practice has since evolved from sometimes forced relaxation into more holistic mindful movements following the breath. She enjoys guiding folks through a gentle and conscious flow of postures and breath work that still the mind and awaken the heart.
